Purely Joyful Movie!
It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
Disgusting and stupid movie. For me, this is just pornography, totally grabage plot. Rapist and bestiality will like this movie. The director just wanted to shoot naked scene.. remind me of Aruna Shanbaug, a victim of rapist. i feel really sad and uncomfortable. Please stop making this kind of movie.
Many gruesome & graphic deaths. The creature was brutal, and the practical effects for it and its killings were very impressive. It could have sacrificed some gore in place of some suspense though. The main characters were a bland couple, and the acting wasn't great there. At least the hunters were funny at times, and the sheriff was quite likable. The plot was fairly basic, but that was fine by me. They established the couple's back story efficiently and had them in the midst of things before I knew it, which I appreciated. However, although it picked up fast, it didn't really pay off. The third act seemed a bit dragged out.Still, it was enjoyable enough.
The story is about a couple who are recently reunited but their homecoming is cut short when their vehicle is involved in an accident. What follows next is a stalker/predator/prey formula which sticks to typical monster movie tropes. There are some decent kills and the gore is actually pretty good for a low budget film like this. There is enough variety and amount of unique kills to satisfy the gore freaks. This isn't a Fulci level gross but with no C.G effects it is appreciated. The acting is not a high point, the tomahawk variety indians are probably the best with the main stars being average or below. The monster works best (for me anyway) when it is stalking and camouflaged rather then balls out-front and centre. I'm rating his a 6 because it was just above average, maybe with vodka and a mate I'd have given 7. Maybe.
Ok sometimes you just need to watch a good old fashioned b flick . The killings were good I have to say . Got lost a few times on what was happening but a few scenes later figured it out . People put expectations it's going to be like some big Hollywood producers movie , enjoy it just for the simple movie it is .
