Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

I loved this movie.Antonio was great in this as well as Carl Urban as usual. It was also great to see Paz Vega in this. I like how Antonio when through different phases of grief and the unique way in which he handled it. I'm a person who loves the power of coincidences as there really are no coincidences in life, and the writers used that in a very creative and believable way. I liked the small sub-plot - not real complicated but that's what I actually liked about this movie, Small twists of things that came into his life that actually helped him and added to his life. I loved this movie!!! 10 out of 10!

Not sure why I see a lot of negativity concerning this movie. I found it very interesting and I liked the action. Yeah, I could have done without the "silent" aspect of it, and a few oddities (Urban's character talking & helping the man he hates) but overall the action was good and a decent story. To give you an idea, I was already checking if there was going to be a "Acts Of Vengeance 2". To me Banderas should do another, they story can already be laid out with the ending of this movie, and make the movie that much better. Hey there is a John Wick 2 (and 3) and an Equalizer 2, why not a AOV2 :-)

Don't waste your time...unless you want to see Antonio Banderas in his worst film of all time. The TSA dog did a better job of acting than Antonio did. At least I believed the dog could get a job with the TSA. When Antonio takes a couple of Karate lessons he can suddenly kick four much bigger dudes' butts all at the same time, and later he beats up a huge cop who has been beating up dudes on a regular basis - really? The funniest scenes were when Antonio took a vow of silence and had to answer questions from the nurse...so bad!!! Almost worth watching because it was so uncomfortably awkward.I don't have to ask for money back but I'll never get the time back. Ugh.
