Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Wasn't too sure there's going to be a sequel to "Posse", but who cares? I liked it in a way. Chance leading a gang of loonies isn't anyones cup of tea. I liked the parody of "Clementine", and I also liked the poker scene when Deacon got annoyed by the song. Though Chance lost his girl to Deacon, he got the best chance with Allison, the wild blonde. Getting a new soulmate isn't going to be easy for Chance. After heckling Batista for his folly with Allison, Chance's luck changed big time, the loonies were trained to fight. And when the Mexican Army was defeated, the loonies had the town all to themselves, and Chance got a new woman which he has in the middle of the movie it truly was a happy for everyone except the townfolks. 4 out of 5 stars.
I thought Los Locos was really funny, favorite parts were the man and his precious little brown rabbit and mario with a whore in the tub Mario played and interesting part and there was a lot of action and killing which is what I like best!
I found this movie to be original and entertaining. Worth watching if you are into westerns with a twist. Melora Walters shows her stuff off too, so it is worth it if only for that! Nice. Mario Van Peebles gives a good performace as the "good" guy. The rest of the looney toons do a fine job as well.
this has got to be one of the more messed up movies i've ever seen. it's gritty and sick and probably how it really was for the mentally ill back then. i say that if you like Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, A Clockwork Orange and the likes of such that this movie is for you.
