A creepy picture plays with the fear of a woman. Maybe, there is a connection between the girl in the picture and the woman who tries to find out the secret behind the glass.

"This is a weird scene that was floating about a BBS and apparently causing psychotic reactions in some people who watched it with high quality headphones. There seems to be a variety of audio frequencies in use, primarily 17Hz and 19Hz, and the garbled speech could be from anywhere."

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

This is the premises. if an ordinary objects from house represents more than you admitt ? a play with fear of viewer made by David Sandberg, seductive for the wake up of memories about "Annabelle". and, maybe, this is one of basic motifs to see it. because it preserves the air of old fashion horrors , proposing the theme of the other and the captivity in fiction as price for a character to become real. and, sure,, that remains a great premises.

Pictured is a short horror film by David Sandberg, the creator of Lights Out; both the short and full length feature movie. Short after short, Sandberg has shown and proved that he is a master of horror and, in my opinion, deserves a lot more full feature movies to his name. Pictured is one of those shorts I would like to see as a full feature movie. Pictured is the story of a young woman who seems to be haunted by a picture on her wall. As time passes, perhaps there's more to the picture than the woman seems. This was brilliant. I found myself on edge and looking to the side of the screen as I watched this. It was absolutely amazing. The suspense was real, and the lack of audio and sound really added to this. I had goosebumps as I watched this. I've watched this one two or three times now, and it was absolutely stunning each time. I'd love to see an extension of this, and to learn more on it. The make up used in this was also absolutely stunning and Sandberg did amazingly with this one. A definite eight out of ten and a solid recommendation.

"Pictured" is a very short 3-minute live action short film written and directed by David F. Sandberg. His co-writer is also the only actress in here: Lotta Losten. I must say I am somewhat turning into a fan of Sandberg. His approach to horror is exactly the one that entertains as well as scares me. I was genuinely worried what would happen the next time she would life her hand in this movie. Of course, you can wonder why she still does it if she is so scared and doesn't simply run, especially with that shadow early on, but lets not do that. Let us enjoy this little movie for what it is: tense, smartly-written and scary. And the ending is pretty amazing too. I certainly enjoyed the watch and this is as good as it gets for such a brief film. Go watch it. One of the best short films from 2014.
