The Cheese Mites
A gentleman is here shown partaking of a little lunch of bread and cheese, and occasionally is seen to glance at his morning paper through a reading glass. He suddenly notices that the cheese is a little out of the ordinary, and examines it with his glass. To his horror, he finds it to be alive with mites, and, in disgust, leaves the table. Hundreds of mites resembling crabs are seen scurrying in all directions. A wonderful picture and a subject hitherto unthought of in animated photography. Notable for being the first science film made for the general public.(IMDB)

Theory of Everything: GOD, Devils, Dimensions, Dragons, Illusion & Reality
The Theory of Everything: "Michio Kaku & Steven Hawking have interesting ideas, however, this video veers less to the direction of Darwin & the "extremely" improbable -- more in the direction perhaps of those such as Sir Roger Penrose (a Steven Hawking's mentor), Steven Meyer (ID), Niels Bohr (atomic structure), Sir John Eccles (Nobel Prize for consciousness), Max Planck (father of Quantum Physics), Albert Einstein (Relativity), Thomas Aquinas, Aristotle (teacher of Alexander the Great), Plato (student of Aristotle) -- and (above all) -- Jesus Christ. Skál
Dania is 21 years old and grew up in a Christian community in the Faroe Islands’ Bible belt. She has just moved to Tórshavn and is seeing Trygvi, a hip-hop artist and poet locally known as Silvurdrongur (Silver Kid). He comes from a secular family and writes poems and texts about the shadow sides of humanity. Dania herself sings in a Christian band but is fascinated by Trygvi’s courage to write brutally honest lyrics. As she tries to find her place in the world and understand herself, she starts to write more personal texts. Her writings develop into a collection of critical poems called ‘Skál’ (‘Cheers’), about the double life that she and other youths must live in the conservative Christian world.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
