I love this movie so much

A brilliant film that helped define a genre

A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

The story-telling is good with flashbacks.The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.

I like it very much , and play many many times.The songs and dances are always good

Honestly, I love the songs - I've got this on DVD and seen it more than once and that's more for the songs than anything else. I really like Achchi Lagti Ho, and the title song is a lovely tune that makes a better use of whistling than any song since Peter, Bjorn and John's 'Young Folks'. Which is not a sentence you expect to write in any review, but it's true.The good news is the acting is as good as can be expected with the material, the dancing is perfectly well-executed, the little boy is adorable, there's an interesting plot dimension (a philandering husband in a country where divorce is uncommon) and the leading couple have great chemistry (they are now married off-screen). The bad news is that the whole film is completely daft, the characters make unsympathetic and unrealistic choices, the husband is a two- dimensional pantomime villain (boo hiss), the choreography's half-baked, there's a weird plot summary scene in the middle for no reason whatsoever, the Coca Cola product placements are eye-rollingly tiresome, the 'comedy' scenes are forced and embarrassing and the whole film is at least forty-five minutes too long. It's like directing by numbers in a lot of places, too: one scene you'll get an interesting shot of someone lit from underneath and think "hmm, maybe this bloke's OK" and then he'll have a scene where, seriously, the good guy's wearing all white and the bad guy's wearing all black. Even Disney doesn't do that.I actually quite like Kuch Naa Kaho. I don't watch a lot of rom coms, but I like the songs in this and the fact that it's not Western and the story's not typical. It has too many bad points for me to ever seriously recommend it to anyone to expand their film knowledge, but I would say that it's a cheerful, inoffensive thing to watch while doing the ironing.

This is one of the first Bollywood films i have seen and i thought it was fantastic...Aishwarya Rai is gorgeous and plays the role exceptionally well, she is a terrific actor! I must admit though i am biased towards her because of her beautiful eyes and lovely hair. So don't get me wrong the other actors also did a very good job...Abhishek Bachchan played Raj's role very well. I also very much enjoyed all of the song and dance within the movie...especially Achi Lagti Ho...that is a beautiful song! The whole movie was full of color and dance, i enjoyed every minute of it! This is a great movie for any one who can be bothered to read subtitles! Overall...I Loved It!!!!! 10/10

I've read bad reviews, but I don't agree. I found the whole film entirely enjoyable. Being used to 90 minute films I was worried about the length of Bollywood films, yet I didn't hardly notice the time.The film captured my attention, partly due to Ash Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, both were captivating and carried the story. I even have the songs in my head still...and that only happens occasionally.I don't know much about Indian culture but I did enjoy getting to see something un-American, to the point of deciding that maybe I should stick to World Cinema rather than Hollywood.Personally I will be watching it many more times and encourage anyone who hasn't seen it yet to get a move on!
