A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

I had always thought the host of Mock the Week was a little upstaged by the brilliant one-liners of regulars Frankie Boyle, Hugh Dennis, Russell Howard and Andy Parsons, so I was looking forward to seeing him on his own. Dara O'Briain plays at the Hammersmith Apollo theatre in London as part of his sell out tour, and I was actually quite impressed, as I had hardly seen him cracking so many good jokes. He mixes his own written material with improvisation for and with the audience, this includes some very funny interaction and maybe a little comeback for hecklers. I am sure he will do another live stand up show, and if he does, I am sure I will be watching it, a good debut from a good comedian. Very good!
