Nice effects though.
I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.
"Here Now" is a 6-minute short film from last year written and directed by the fairly experienced Gregg Araki. The most prominent cast member is certainly Jane Levy. Unfortunately, the names in this film do not equal the quality. It was a fairly forgettable watch, pretty stylistic and easy on the eye maybe, but in terms of the story very much forgettable I have to say. Disappointing. I quite like Levy and I certainly hoped for more watching this one. My hopes were not fulfilled and in here, she does not even score in the looks department which she usually does. Luckily, it does not drag too much, but that's also impossible at such a runtime. Nothing more to say. i do not recommend it. Thumbs down and watch something else instead.
