Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.

All that we are seeing on the screen is happening with real people, real action sequences in the background, forcing the eye to watch as if we were there.

True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

I seem to be submersing myself on British films lately....This was transparent from the start but it held my attention. I wanted to wait it out until the end to see how these characters prevailed or failed. Good action sequences....as action goes. As an American I am always looking for life in the UK. But I can't really compare gang war from one country to the other.Thankfully I am not fluent in either. I have to say that I have been watching Ioan Gruffudd for some time now and that was my motivation for seeing this film, along with his flatmate Mathew Ryhs. Quite nice to look at even for brief moments. Why do I have to submit 10 lines? I am not a literary agent.... ohcheap1

A truly bad film that suffers from bad script, bad acting and bad camera work. The camera moves so much it makes you feel quite seasick and the acting is so bad that you really wonder if anyone actually was doing for the love of the script or the money! Bad bad bad.The only highlight is for Gerard Butler films, anything he is in has at least one high point.I recommend this film only for die hard fans of either gangster films or bigger Gerard Butler fans.

The promise of gangsters, guns and crime attracted this film to me, as i love the subject. But unfortunately this film was a big disappointment for me. Both Gilly & Max looked completely unconviencing as gangsters, and max especially would have been more suited as a hairdresser or a knitting teacher. The whole story line is pretty week, and you have to wonder what the entire point of the film is besides trying to glamourize guns, taking drugs and drink driving.I stuck with the film though in the hope it would get better, but apart from the twists in the last 30 seconds of the film, it just wasn't worth watching.

I rented this film because of the tagline stating it was in tradition of Lock Stock and Two Smoking barrels. The acting was superb, story well done, and direction, cinematography....everything just amazing.I have never seen or heard of any of the actors until I have seen this movie and I must say they did a phenomenal job. While all the actors were good the role of the kid who plays J's brother stands out. Even in a minor role his character really packed a punch.I definitely recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys "gangster" type films....there's hardly a dull moment and it keeps you watching and guessing. A+Go rent it!
