A Masterpiece!
I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible
Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.
It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film
Good watch. Suspense held throughout till the end. Nothing too fancy, But keeping it simple works and worked.
I was happy to see Topher Grace star in something that does resemble That 70's Show and decided to buckle down on this one. Without saying too much and saying it all, this flick utilizes excessive jump scares, stigmas on mental illness and a crippling story line that barely makes it to the finish line. Best viewed as background noise.
This movie is not perfect there are some things that are pointless near the end, however the bulk of it was fantastic. The characters and story are explained early, so you have some background. Then what you are left with, in my opinion, is a roller coaster of emotion and wonder. It keeps you thinking and trying to figure out if what you are thinking is correct. Like I said not perfect, but about 90% of it is worth a watch. Its not a horror, ultimately a psychological thriller / mystery.
Terrible film with good actors in it.The film kind of starts...then some things happen...then there's sort of a climax...and then it ends. No...I'm short selling it. That's the whole film. Topher Grace shows up. So does Patricia Clarkson. They interact and time passes. Anyway..whoever wrote the film knows next to nothing about house arrest as you able to walk outside of the house when you are on it. You just can't go too far from it without permission. If you are fan of Grace, then see it. If not...then skip it.
