Best movie ever!
In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.
Ben Hall is definitely an under-appreciated Bushranger (if you can say that about Bushrangers), and this film really highlights that. The team have gone above and beyond to make this as histroixally accurate as possible and it's a true testament to the Aussie film industry. They've really upped the level on which Australian history is presented in film.
I was so impressed with this film! The film paid attention to accuracy and authenticity. For a film made without a massive Hollywood budget this film translated as a richly deep film. I personally particularly liked the different portrayal of the gang. So nice to have different accents and personalities that would have reflected the real colonial era. The dancing scene was a particular favourite one of mine.
Well researched accurate account of Ben Hall's last days. Great cast, director, etc. Excellent cinematography, a most enjoyable experience.
This film captures the heart and soul of Ben Hall! The production, the acting, and cinematography are simply remarkable in my opinion. If you love brilliant film making, and a legends like Ben Hall, you'll love this film as much as I do!!!
