Crawl or Die
Earth as we know it is gone. A virus has destroyed the planet and rendered all its women infertile, all but one. An elite team of soldiers are tasked with bringing the woman to safety on the newly habitable Earth Two. But when they are forced underground they find themselves fighting for survival from an bloodthirsty creature in a maze of ever shrinking tunnels. As the team's ranks start to dwindle, the tunnels shrink and the ammunition run out, the crawl for survival becomes more and more desperate.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
the audience applauded
Wow! What a bizarre film! Unfortunately the few funny moments there were were quite overshadowed by it's completely weird and random vibe throughout.
The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
I made sure to check mark the "contains spoilers," but quite frankly, it's sarcastically. I mean this movie is literally people crawling through tubes for like an hour. I mean I knew what I was getting into, but I thought there would be variation and excitement. It was the same tube over and over, and sometimes it had dirt in it...for an hour! After 10 minutes of crawling through a tube I started jumping 5 minutes ahead with the remote and burned through the rest of the movie and yeah its just crawling through a tube. The best way to watch this movie would be on fast forward 4x.
**Spoilers** The first time I saw this I was a little bit underwhelmed due to the lack of script/dialogue (apart from the speech about a girl being the only remaining fertile female left), but then realised that once "Tank" was the only survivor and she was going from tunnel to tunnel with ever decreasing space, I realised that dialogue wasn't necessary and it became a total tension festival for her (and for the viewer).I don't think I have ever seen a film where the feeling of claustrophobia has been done so well (even The Descent didn't manage that) and when you think of the extremely limited budget, it is even more impressive. At times I was just begging for her to be able to get some air/space/anything to stop the nightmare!Nicole Alonso & Oklahoma Ward ought to be very proud of what they have created & I, for one, can't wait for the continuation of the story. My work colleagues all agreed that it was an incredibly tense film & very good.Watch it, stick with it & be impressed ..... I was!
Crawl or die....I'm sure 99% of us would choose to crawl, until you watch this film. After coming across a few posts on Twitter about this film I hadn't seen, people seem to be praising it. So I have to check this out, I'm changed forever and so glad I did. Oklahoma ward the independent film Co. Producing this gem is incredibly lucky to have found, yes, Nicole Alonso. As an up and coming actress trust me I know, this business is not easy, there's no one out there handing you roles or money to get a story or script you have produced. I title this as is, because it is independent film making at its best. They had a story, a good production team with the idea of what the set needs to be. This film takes you on a roller coaster ride of fear you didn't know you had. A spec-ops team trying to deliver a young woman encounter an alien and are forced underground. After losing her team very quickly she realizes there's only two choices, Crawl or die, literally. When faced with adversity some of us get that extra pump of adrenaline, the fight within us, if I had to do what Tank did, yep, it's over. She encounters one tunnel after another, then when you don't think it can get worse, yes it does, a small tunnel with no air and filled with dirt. Then when you think oh god she has to be getting close to an exit, nope. It gets even worse. Claustrophobia you didn't know you had sets in. Absolutely amazing performance by Nicole, great film making on a budget. I will ignore those who are giving negative reviews, you simply don't know what it takes to make a film. This one took an idea, a team, and an actress and accomplished they're goal. Nicely done!
Poor continuity sometimes. Like someone forgot which side a wound was supposed to be on when they rocked up for the next days filming... although the way this movie went... it probably only took a day. I especially loved the part where the soldier fired multiple rounds, one handed, from his bolt action machine gun? What? The plot is thin, the acting painfully forced sometimes. The sound... well i don't know what happened there. Sometimes the sound effects for the guns or something dropped out of the scene. The action continued and other effects were there... i thought maybe i had a problem with my PC... After putting up with the first 30 minutes, i skimmed ahead. It wasn't like i missed much. And there were only 2 possible outcomes that were blindingly obvious. Low budget? Or should it have been no budget. And i wonder if Spielberg knows where Aliens head went....? I do...I love sci-fi and a bit of drama... but this was pathetic. If it wasn't for the lead actress ending up in her sports bra and pants, i would have stopped watching about half way through. Oh... and for a "new" planet... who built the tunnels? And i didn't know aliens used padlocks? Sorry, i guess I'm not supposed to think logically after-all, it is only a movie.
