This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

Most people might not like this because its up to date to their fans liking. Its not just delivering boring facts and all but showing their journey and showing their fans that they're having fun

It is difficult to understand why anyone would pan this movie.I watched this on an 8 foot high-definition screen. The images are razor sharp, the color is wonderful, the editing is in a modern style but not too jumpy. The story flow should keep your attention. On a decent 5.1 surround system the sound quality is very good. If there were technical flaws I was in a good position to find them. I didn't find any.You get to see the members of the group perform and go about their lives. If you say (like one reviewer) that it was too scripted then you weren't paying attention. The boys revel in being spontaneous and doing what they want to do and wearing what they want to wear, or so it seems. It kept my interest. All in all it was just fun - and I'm not even a fan.

Hey, all of these people leaving terrible reviews have absolutely no life. Just because this band doesn't sound like the music you listen to doesn't mean they aren't talented. They've worked so hard to get where they are today, and you're being completely rude. I bet half of these people never even watched the film! I bet a billion dollars they can sing 10x better than you can. I can't believe people these days... Yes, I am a fan of them and I'm not just defending them because I love them, but because there's no need to say awful things like that! I went and saw this with my mom because she WANTED to see it! She said it was hilarious and adorable! I don't see how anyone could say this was a "God Awful" documentary... There's nothing wrong with it! There voices. They're growing up! Their voices are still changing somewhat, they started off younger but that's fine!

I suppose this is a bias opinion but I didn't go to see this film with anyone that do actually like the band, I saw it with family members and friends that do not like One Direction. The movie wasn't just promoting, it gave a real insight into their lives. None of it was scripted they said quote; "If something cool happened and the camera's missed it they wouldn't ask us to re-act it because that's just stupid" They let the cameras into their lives and it shows what it's like to be at one of their concerts. There are funny parts to the movie and it really shows their personalities behind there newspaper titles.I asked the guy beside me, he was around 19 years old and he said he is embarrassed to say he really enjoyed it. He said he only came to see the film because of his girlfriend.I wouldn't tell you this as a lie, because that is pointless and I wouldn't spend the time to write a lie.
