The acting in this movie is really good.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
So, I'm a dog lover. I thought this would be a cute dog movie but boy I was wrong. The acting was pretty good, but the humor was poor (just relied on crap jokes and fart jokes) and it used this "kill off the mom before the events of the movie" cliche that I AM REALLY SICK OF. I know it wasn't made for people 12 and up, but neither were better movies like "Coco" and "All Dogs Go To Heaven".
I gave it 3 because of the dogs and the step sister who all played their parts well. The problem with this film is they aren't in it enough. The 2 bungling burglars ( where have we seen that before ) are totally unfunny even with slapstick. When the dogs made their entrance I thought this could be good comedy. I was hoping the film would centre around them, but no, the most unfunny human characters took over, it's a shame, could have been good.
