One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.

Airline Disaster is simply not a movie due to the lack of any of the basic elements needed to make a movie. The previous reviews indicated how awful the actors on both the good and evil side. However, the crisis team is very annoying to the extent that I was not sympathizing with any of them neither the hijacking group who are bloody but not in an entertaining way. The movie is full of goofs from the first second till the end. The graphics work is horrible, not helpful and irritating to the audience. The FBI team is really weird and does not look like it belongs to any security service on earth. I advise you not to watch it unless it is for the sake of laughing....

I would like to take issue with IMDb because they do not give me the opportunity to give this movie 0 out of 10. I have to give it 1 and I feel bad about giving it that much.Others have already mentioned the fact that the effects and the acting are very poor indeed. However, I feel that I may have the answer. If you look at the credits you will find the Director is named as John Willis III. John has many movie credits to his name. Some of the films have been quite successful. Unfortunately John's job title on all of these films was as "electrician"! This is his first attempt at directing.A note to the producers (who probably take a large salary out of the production budget and so don't care what rubbish they churn out).If you want someone to direct a film for you ... hire a "Director" and NOT an Electrician.

Too bad... Nothing in the movie seems real. The special effects are perhaps made up on an old home computer :) I cannot imagine how people invest money on such a crap... A total waste of time to watch it ( I even couldn't resist to push my FF button on many scenes ). Actors of the movie tried their best I presume. But without a proper story, what can be done ? I've watched many low budget films in my life, and according to my experience, an action movie without proper sources never makes it. But for all movie enthusiasts, especially for all special effect fans, I advise to watch it carefully. "This is how special effects must not be." and that's a lesson.

Geez what a bunch of whiners here on IMDb. Big deal, yea - it's low budget, so what? Once you accept and understand that you can enjoy it for what it is - a fun little action adventure romp. Lindsey McKeon was pretty good (and very, very hot by the way) and the bad guys were menacing, especially Geoff Meed. I hope Asylum casts both of them more often. Actually - all the actors were very strong in this one. Was great to see Meredith Baxter again. I thought she did a great job playing the president and was a lot of fun to watch. The story was tight, music awesome and special effects told the story they needed to tell. The Asylum films that don't take themselves seriously (Megashark, MegaPiranha) are sometimes the most fun. But this one, while being a pretty straight forward action/adventure, was enjoyable as well. The scenes of destruction in DC at the end were a hoot. All in all I enjoyed it.(Sorry if this offends anyone!)
