Bad Acting and worse Bad Screenplay
It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.
Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
Well let me tell you something about my experience with traveling on a long desert road to nowhere. It never really happen cause I'm so couscous that the car is going to break down or I wont have enough water for the long haul. but rest assured I'm really Not that stupid to let that happen am i. but these two clowns did just that.. even though I Seriously Love this movie it was a stretch for me the silly happening of this. but don't be despair its bloody Funny as hell. an I got to say Josh Duhamel was so so good I never laugh so much before but it was a laugh of despair because of their predicament. And what they put themselves in from the very outset. you need water on a long trip man. it's a given no matter how you look at it. this movie Rocks get it.
Must see. Don't listen to bad reviews. 2 guys stuck in the dresser. They truck broke down. Do they get out or do the not. Great movie. Great great great great great movie!!!! I think the acting was great. The story is one I haven't seen and is 10 stars. Definitely not a waste of time here. I don't know what else to write. All I can say is great awesome great awesome great awesome great an awesome movie. I watched in twice in a short period of time.
It's difficult to explain in words how much of an impression this movie can leave on someone, especially if that someone doesn't think philosophically on a regular basis. This is an absolute must- watch for everyone. It's so raw and real, its portrayal of human emotions and the way we live in modern society and the effects that society has on us, the way we look at situations and other people... not to mention the utterly mind-blowing conclusion. I'd like to think of it as an open thought experiment, poking viewers to think of themselves in a predicament like the one the two main characters find themselves in, how they would act or react, and analyze their own frame of mind and how they look at the world around them. I can't emphasize enough. Watch this movie! It may even change your life.
Why You Might Like It: The acting is pretty solid by Duhamel and Fogler and the deserted areas where the movie is filmed also do a great job of setting the stage. If you enjoy films about survival, this movie is worth a watch for you. The ending also offers plenty to think about, so if you enjoy that type of thing you should see it.Why You Might Not Like It: To me, this is a very average survival film and it is primarily dialogue driven. Therefore there isn't a ton of action and the movie has many notable slow spots. You could also argue that there is various unrealistic points in the film.Acting/Casting: 6* Directing/Cinematography/Technical: 5.5*Plot/Characters: 5.5* Entertainment Value: 5* Total - 6+5.5+5.5+5 = 22/4 = 5.5* - Worth watching on TV
