I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
That was an excellent one.
Better than most people think
I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible
I saw Teen Beach 2 only one time. The one time I saw it made me angry because it was a horrible movie. All the songs were at best forgettable. This was the worst sequel ever (and I thought More American Graffiti and Grease 2 were bad). If you thought Grease 2 was bad try watching this movie. In fact I wouldn't waste my time watching it at all. That's two hours of my life I will never get back. There was absolutely no connection to the first movie. There were WAY too many contradictions. Teen Beach 2 never should've been made at all. The first Teen Beach Movie was much better. It should've been a stand alone movie. Give me the first Teen Beach Move any day
It's really not as bad as everybody thinks. It still has that same goofy sweet vibe that the original one was famous for but it starts to also turn the characters into multidimensional people with lives outside of surfing. Probably the weirdest thing though was when they return to their normal lives and it's so believable that you can't believe you didn't see how badly matched they were for each other from the beginning. But somehow those two crazy kids are made for each other. There are a few songs in this one too and I still found myself taping along to the numbers even if they weren't as catchy. It may not have been as good as the first one but it wasn't a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
This film is particularly frustrating to me, for several reasons. I disliked the fact that Brady and Mack kept constantly arguing about the most trivial of things, the first twenty minutes were like stepping into another, ridiculous world, and the fact that the ending was ridiculously implausible. Since I'm marking this as a spoiler, I'm going to tell you why this annoys me: The first movie clearly established that Brady and Mack knew each other before the movie began. Now, this movie tries to tell us they met in the movie, which makes no sense. Because of this, when they fail to return Tanner and Lela in time, they forget each other. When I realized that happened, that's when I turned the movie off.Other than those things, however, the songs are mostly really good, the dance moves are as sharp as ever, Tanner and Lela's characters in the real world was a funny concept, and overall, the film looked and sounded fantastic. It's just sad the film had such a horrid ending. I don't know how they would do a Teen Beach 3, to be honest, and I don't really want one.5/10 | Grade: C
I was really excited for this movie because the first movie was amazing but Teen Beach 2 was kind of a let down. Sure, you could argue. Some songs were catchy, it was a great storyline, some parts were funny and some parts were very touching but I do have my reasons for writing this review. Firstly, the new people totally ruined the vibe, causing me to forget this movie was about 1962 characters. They were totally unnecessary! The movie was overall less bouncy and fun than the first one and was much less music. The ending was my least favourite scene in the entire movie! Wait? So, you (Referring to Disney) just made me cry because Brady and Mack had a massive fight (which was probably the aim) but you make me die because they completely forget about each other? IM SORRY! THATS NOT RIGHT! The first movie was so much more.... Fun and up beat. The sequel had a whole Austin and Ally vibe and I'm definitely not a fan of Austin and Ally! Lucky that the sequel wasn't the first movie otherwise I'd have a lot more frustration for this movie. I just hope there is a 3rd movie where everything goes back to normal (meaning Mack and Brady remember each other and everything they've done together) and the third has just as good a plot, just as good a storyline and the same actors and 1962 vibe as the first one.
