As Good As It Gets
It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.
This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Unique, semi-corny and ridiculous, but, overall it's worth a watch.
None of these morons wouldn't tell each other anything. The doctor friend has to be the worst friend on the planet by far. For a guy that was so forgetful he sure was brilliant at being a bad guy. The two main women are college scholars but are totally stupid when putting two and two together.
Based on the book, "The Resurrectionist," this is a great, mysterious thriller-horror with a supernatural twist. This movie has a good load of blood in it, although is not entirely gory. The plot is very solid and the characters captivating. As the plot unfolded, I was reminded of a similarly fantastic movie from 2011, "Sleep Tight," ("Mientras Duermes") a French psycho-drama of obsession sans supernatural element. I think a lot of people who watch this movie are not going to expect the supernatural element. If you wanted more psycho-drama and less blood, "Sleep Tight" is exactly for you. I thought the very end was a little bit cheesy, but that's just me. Many people might like the macabre finale, but I thought the movie could have been better if it were more subtle and everyone didn't freakin' die. And, the spoiler is the word "everyone" (you'll see exactly what I mean in the last few minutes of the movie). However, if you enjoyed this one as much as I did, make sure to check out Sleep Tight. Another one I recommend if you've run out of American horror films to watch is "In Their Sleep," ("Dans Ton Sommeil," 2010) another captivating French psycho horror.
This was a really good film with excellent acting and good score. The locations were just OK but the story and directing made up for that. Just goes to show good films can be made without big names. I always enjoy a movie where you don't know what's going to happen, this certainly did that for me on many occasions. It has you involved from the start to the end with strong conviction. The leads are great. This should have got more press.Totally recommend to watch! Good story! Good acting! Great score! Great Directing!! Don't be put off by rating! Good scares!!Don't miss this one!!!!! A fun watch! On Netflix too!!
