Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

It was OK. I don't see why everyone loves it so much. It wasn't very smart or deep or well-directed.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

Plot! Well its its Confusing.! No No, Plot is not confusing but I am confused whether to write it or not because its big, Large scale, Stupid and Against the Logic. The Movie is stylish, is good in visuals except - the Songs, which are so boring and Horribly Pictured. Pritam had remixed and recycled so called Composition (Don't know the Composer name because they had never mentioned the Original Composer name in any of his Movie, have to find out). Yes, it's a Masala Movie and have to accept the movie like that only. No Need of Logic but should have some sense. First Let us look at Dhoom 1 - The Villain Character is the Center and John Abraham as Villain looks good as much as Hrithik Roshan, Hrithik Dances far better than Job Abraham then where does Hrithik Falls???It's the Characterization!. Job Abraham had a Character which i respectable and is the same from the Start to End. Where as Hrithik's Character is so funny, do some gimmicks like 'Sikkari Sambu' and Character movies of Changing from Start to end, and is very much interested for Flirting and He Cries for a Girl who just betrayed (What will you do when your Friend cry's for a Girl Who is cheated?) and at-last Bla bla bla... Hiring few Good Looking Models and Style Hrithik Walking here and there cannot make a Good Movie. Hey!, Do you know ? Jai Dixit (Bachchan) is ACP!@. Aiswariya Rai! - I wonder why somebody had hired here - its a Part of Marketing I think, but still the movie had go weird only because of too much a High profile Casts like -The Villain Character should have given to somebody like Arjun Rampal or If the Viillain Character is the same then there should not have a 'Character' for Aiswariya Rai.Udhay Chopra - I think, This will be the last film i watching of him. He does good Comedy and I felt to stare at the theater when he does comedy! And He is good in Comedy again - that I laughed at few of his Serious Scenes.!Yes, I liked few scenes like - Intro of Hrithik and First Dhoom Dance. and Thats all.Hey This is Hrithik Movie! No Logic, he is another Super Man like Rajini Kanth and Chiranjeevi. let him Grow like them.

When i saw dhoom 2 my ideas about bollywood underwent a metamorphosis. Resting on a simple plot i.e a cop after a highly elusive thief (Mr. A) who is pragmatically uncatchable and executes thefts with phenomenal finesse and panache. The movie is all about one man HRITHIK ROSHAN (Mr. A) giving a performance of a lifetime and has surmounted his own best in recent past. The way he has played his character one really starts to believe that Mr. A is the most prudent guy around and indeed catching him is one hard nut to crack .Abhishek and uday chopra are OK as cops ,and aishwarya looks beautiful and has done well in acting department. The action of the movie was the highlight and the robberies executed by Mr. A are very meticulous and crafty. Direction was extremely gripping and fast paced .Considering the fact that HRITHIK is my favourite star i would go ahead and sayMy favourite movie of all time !!!!!!and for those who criticize dhoom 2 - granted the fact that the movie did receive a critical bashing but it was the BIGGEST hit of 2006 (at the box office which is the highest form of acclaim) and one of the biggest success's ever Indian cinema has seen.

I've stopped watching Hindi movies since i was about 9 I'm 24 now and i was told by friends to watch this movie as it was a huge movie in the making. So with less-expectation than "I Think I Love My Wife" i went and bought the DVD, and within 2 minutes i was so angry and annoyed at the way Indian movies have gone downhill since the time i was watching them, i then forced myself to watch it all the way through and i was right to be angry in the first 2 minutes This is a terrible movie with nothing but flesh being the integral part of the whole movie, Hrithik Roshan is nothing but a "poser" and Aishwariya isn't any different. The scene where the actors kiss is truly cringe-worthy as I was watching it with the family. I quickly had to fast-forward it and apologise to my family. Nearly every movie my friends talk about now are movies with more flesh than clothes and more kisses then a wife to husband on valentines day. Overall this is a shocking summary of modern day Bollywood. 1/10 (The 1 being the sheer amazement of me that this got past the Indian Board of movie making.)
