The nerds are now in control of the university, as a result of Lewis Skolnick and the rest's actions in the two previous movies. A new generation of sportsmen arrive, however, determined on winning the school back. The principle, himself an ex-nerd fighter, helps them, and the nerds return to suppression. Harold Skolnick needs help from his uncle Lewis, the hero of the first two movies. Lewis, however, are not too proud of his nerd past, and won't reveal any of it, much less help his nephew. However, his wife makes him change his mind, and with help from his friends from the first two movies, they start the fight to win the school back, using classic nerd tricks.

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

With the likable characters from the first two films all grown up, they are given far smaller supporting roles here, as we are introduced to a new range of characters, most of which are sadly are underdeveloped and lack the charm of the original nerds. In spite of this, the usual silliness, predictability, and fades to black that carry on far too long, the film is still moderately entertaining, and there are quite a few songs that are amusing to listen to. It is not a very well made film, but it is engaging enough to keep one watching for the running time, even if it is far off the level of the first two entries in the series.

I must admit when I first heard of these movies I thought to myself "what good is a nerd movie without the original cast" To my surprise, the most memorable of Nerds still remain, and might I add that none of them looked any different then they did when Nerds 1 came out in the 80's. I am very very fond of NERDS and all of their movies, if they continued to make'em, I would continue to be a loyal follower. I remember the good'IL 80's and when the Nerds made a splash at the cinema.........I laughed my ass off. Part 2 was also very very enjoyable. WE'VE GOT BUSH Or WHAT IF D.o.G. REALLY SPELLED CAT. lOL LOL LOL. TOO FUNNY. This one doesn't have all the antics from part 1, but picks up almost exactly where part 2 leaves off. Unfortunately the only original members of the nerds who show up are Booger, Lewis, UN, Lewis's dad and stan the alpha beta. All you nerd followers........this is a fantastic follow up

When I saw the annoucement for Nerds 4 I thought of Nerds 3 which I saw a week before. I laughed about Nerds 3. It was so funny, the Lewis character really did it. But as most movies it's good for a one time watch. The first part wasn't funny at all, close to boring. Then after the break the party with the food fight came. From there the movie improved but it didn't came too the level of humor in Nerds 3. Come on the nerds weren't nerds some times they where pathetic it wasn't funny anymore. All in all it's a movie too watch if you have nothing better to do.

Getting my eyes gouged out with a hot poker. Open-heart surgery without anesthetic. Becoming a quadruple-amputee. What do these things have in common? They're all things I'd rather do or have done to me than watch "Revenge of the Nerds 3" again. This movie is without a doubt the most god-awful piece of crap ever released! What were any of the people involved thinking? The acting writing, direction and situations were among the most pathetic I've ever seen on TV or anywhere else. "Revenge of the Nerds 3" is what's wrong with the world today. The writer and director fully deserve to be shot. DON'T SEE IT!!!!!! If one of your friends ever wants to watch it, kill them, then kill yourself for being friends with anyone who would even consider watching this. As for me, I wasn't lucky enough to have people like me to warn them against this travesty. But you still have a chance. Stay away from this one, or may God have mercy on your soul.
