Chained Heat
Linda Blair plays Carol, a young woman who must serve 18 months in prison after driving drunk and killing a man. The prison turns out to be brimming with decadence, corruption and sleaze, where the other female inmates are sadistic crack-selling lesbian rapists and the guards and warden are no better.

Let's be realistic.
Bad Acting and worse Bad Screenplay
The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
It's exactly what you think it is. The amount of nudity and forced sex in this movie is ridiculous. I'm honestly shocked they just didn't make this an adult movie. However making it an adult movie would ruin the feel of this movie. This is certainly made for select audiences, the woman or gorgeous, they uh..."scenes" are long, they are constantly abused the whole time yet there is empowerment at the end. For me freaking love trashy, sleazy, nudity filled landscape. Chances are if you're a normal person you will be disgusted by this movie. However me it was great and I loved watching every second of it.
Gave it 8 because of Linda Blair she is one of my all time favorites. It's really is a chick flick women behind bars, this movie was made in 1983 stars the Late John Vernom,Sybil Danning which her role in this was brilliant she played the bad girl, and Stella Stevens as a women's Sergent. The plot Linda Blair killed her boy friend by accident and sentence to 18 months in the womens prison, which is run by John Vernon who rapes, and makes out with some of the girls,so they can get stuff. This is diffidently a 80's movie almost a lesbian movie, when some of the girls get out of prison to go to a party with Linda a prostude party Linda freaks out in a up stairs bedroom. then they went to there dorms, linda goes to the head warden and she gets rape by him, So in the mean time Linda kind of befriends a black chick and her possie, then she had a friend with Val who got killed by a guard after she killed the warden. This movie is action, some what slow, but with a budget probably about 20.000 it would have been better or if the made it now. But,things are different now,so Linda Blair goes commando and gets revenge at the-END. some OF IT'S BAD ACTING LIKE Linda B;LAIR SHE KINDS OF FAKES it. but,the plot of the movie is great,it's not like OZ,but kind of like Savage Streets she goes on the rampage. Linda Blair as robocop or the terminator. It is on DVD and have a lot of specials (i think) John Vernon should have sticked with another role but he did good, and Cybill is a riot, her big tits should have a second screen.
I'm a sucker for 60s and 70s exploitation movies - Russ Meyer, Roger Corman, Jess Franco, Jack Hill, Larry Cohen, all those guys. While there was some great movies made in the 80s, very few exploitation movies from that era reached those dizzying heights. Crud like 'Porky's' and 'Hollywood Hot Tubs' were the order of the day. No thanks! However 'Chained Heat' is simply sensational, comparable to the classics of the genre and will appeal to discerning trash lovers everywhere.Newbie Linda Blair ('The Exorcist' kid all grown up) enters a tough women's prison, where lesbianism, drug use, racial tension, violence and sneering are prevalent. The white inmates are ruled by tough-talking Erika (Sybil Danning, star of more b-grade nudies than you can shake a stick at), the black ones by tough-talking Dutchess (the fabulous Tamara Dobson of 'Cleopatra Jones' fame). Also in the mix are veterans John Vernon (at his sleaziest!), Stella Stevens, and Henry Silva. The superior cast is one of the things that makes 'Chained Heat' so great. The other is the sheer ludicrousness of it! The best women-in-prison movie I've ever seen. Highly recommended!
`Chained Heat' is a wonderfully vulgar piece of trash that has everything anyone would want in a Women-In-Prison movie: lots of boobs, frontal nudity, lesbian action, drugs, prostitution, rapes, shootings, stabbings, strangulations, and much, much more.Linda Blair is the naive `heroine' who finds herself in a rather unique penal institution. Apparently, the authorities of the unnamed state in which this story takes place decided they required a lockup reserved almost exclusively for women with `D' cups. (Linda in the movie showed she didn't quite fit this criterion, but apparently some exceptions were made.) Naturally, the prison officials are corrupt to their core (you should see the warden's `playroom') and not above having the women inmates show `good behavior' (if you know what I mean, and I think you do.) There is some animosity between the various factions among the prisoners, but, as one might expect, the girl gangs find a commonality of purpose in the final blow-up toward the end of the movie.`Chained Heat' is a flick that will stick in your mind long after you've forgotten a lot of other movies.
