Wonderful character development!

Good start, but then it gets ruined

Excellent but underrated film

Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

This is similar to a low budget super bad.From the title I was not expecting much but wow I was blown away. The comedy is subtle and original, the photography is amazing considering it is shot on digital. Amazing real sets and great acting from all the actors. This film put a smile on my face. It's a must see. YOU WILL SEE A LOT OF THESE GUYS IN THE FUTURE. GREAT CAST TOO! Don Fashion, the girl from the office, Anthony Anderson & dude from that so 70's so killed it. I am speechless that i almost didn't watch this film, I can not imagine this not being in my life. It is very quotable and many memorable scenes. I am just babbling now but I cant describe how surprised I am with this film. Do yourself a favor and take a chance on this film. Ignore the low score, ignore the haters. This is truly a 10/10

OK. I won't tell you it is a "great flick" but it is not that bad. I don't really understand the bashing about it. I perceived anger in some reviews. I welcome all opinions and feelings but it is like some people are watching a movie with very specific expectations about what they want to see or not see. As for me I saw some good sides in it. It is absurd and surreal in a lot of ways and that is a pretty decent quality to me. There is no sophisticated humor in it and some lines are excessively trashy which is not necessary. The use of foul language does not always make a scene funny. However I saw a reflection about the education and the conditioning that we are all going through in our society and how it determines our behavior. The scene with Limus's little sister Shaqobi with Bardot the hot chick robot in the doll house illustrate that and I though it was pretty funny. The acting is also quite decent and it looks like improvisation has been used in many scenes sometimes successfully and it requires talent to do that. Of course there are flaws in the script and the editing. The director seems to have done better works in the past but it is not as bad as it is rated and comedy is a very tricky craft...

I saw this movie on Netflix last night. It's really not that bad as long as you're in the mood for it and aren't expecting too much. There are some scenes in this movie that are really, really funny and some that fall flat.Here's the good and the bad.THE GOOD:Larry Miller - He's the funniest past of the movie and says some pretty insane sh**. His scenes are all great. Donald Faison and Angela Kinsey all have great scenes are really funny. The Music in this movie is really good and kept the film moving.THE BAD:Zack Pearlman - Can't really carry a movie. Doesn't have the same acting chops as Jonah Hill from Superbad, which I'm sure he was trying to emulate here. The story was really kind of cheesy, we've seen this before with Weird Science. And the 80's references don't really work hereBut overall the movie isn't half bad. You just need to be open to it and doesn't hurt if your stoned watching it. Light'em up!!

Spoiler: THIS MOVIE IS A PIECE OF CRAP!!!Holy mother of God...I'm ashamed for Larry Miller, Danny Masterson, Angela Kinsey and everybody that worked on that piece of CRAP!The movie wants to be "Weird Science" meets "Superbad" meets "E.T." but it's just a big piece of dog crap!The script is totally inane, character's psychology and development is non-existent, and the direction is worse than all the rest! I saw it on NetFlix and was tempted to ask for my $8 back for the month!My only advice is to stay away from this PIECE OF CRAP! Go re-watch "Weird Science", "Superbad" and "E.T." instead!Oh, did I mention it? This movie is freaking' PILE OF DOG CRAP!
