Love Me If You Dare
As adults, best friends Julien and Sophie continue the odd game they started as children -- a fearless competition to outdo one another with daring and outrageous stunts. While they often act out to relieve one another's pain, their game might be a way to avoid the fact that they are truly meant for one another.

Truly Dreadful Film
ridiculous rating
A Masterpiece!
I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
A cliche happy ending holywood movie about love and relationships. what would be the message of the movie: established societal institutions are against the happiness and must be destroyed? unhappy mariages exist and even kids are bad byproducts of these processes? Bury your love in the cement of a building to impress the audiences about the frozen love? A child toy box should be carried through all the life to be happy?A happy ending is the one that you get older together?A true love affair is like a vey old and big oak tree?if you think that all of these are familiar from the holywood cliches, than lets call the cat the cat and name this movie a bad holywood imitation. To me this is a movie from the era when the french movie was shocked was in the transition at the beginning of the milennium.
it is what you want. a modern fairy tale, expression of the Peter Pan syndrome, a game, a preservation form of time in the skin of an only age. but, more important, it is a revelation. about the lead actors and the chemistry between themes, about the director and his admirable art to define the small details light, for the story itself , seductive, cruel, touching, naive, lovely. a film about friendship. or a homage to the friendship. important is the state of viewer after the end of final credits. that state is the authentic proof of the special form of magic of this beautiful film.
Julien and Sophie could be the perfect couple, if only they could figure out how to express their true feelings. These two tend to have no regard for anyone but themselves, they are dirty, crazy, and wonderful. The characters in this movie are unique, but their unfortunate situations are not. As children, the relationship they develop is as innocent as the "game" they play. Truth or dare. The film illustrates how the events from their childhood continue to affect their lives into adulthood. They are always at odds with the attraction that they have for one another. This leads them to the psychopathic tendencies which makes this movie intriguing, interesting, and without a doubt, one of my favorites.
It is really surprising to see the ratings some movies get. As I write this "Jeux d'enfants" has got a 7.6 on IMDb. I don't get it. The story is obnoxious. I do not really understand why the do what they do. It makes no sense. They seem to be crazy children all their lives. I hate the main characters. I wanted them to die at every chance they had, and there were some. That would have conveniently shortened this awful movie. This movie reminds someone of Amelie? Well, maybe because they speak French too. If you like this movie I do not want to meet you, thanks. I do not understand why IMDb chops my comments and then says I need to write more. It had 10 lines when I wrote it. Now I must seem like a rabid maniac who does not know about paragraphs and full stops...
