Really Surprised!
Am i the only one who thinks........Average?
Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
The USA sends a manned space ship to the moon (after 50 years) in order to promote their president in the upcoming elections but what they find is absolutely staggering: a Nazi base. They have settled on the moon 70 years ago planning to attack and conquer earth in the future (I have no idea why). Doomsday has arrived!I don't know how to begin...This movie is a joke, and I really mean it. It's stupid from the beginning to the end, presenting a stupid story a stupid course of events and of course, a stupid finale. I mean, if Nazis could build spaceships and a real base on the moon 50 years ago, why did they bother and instead attack Earth then? It would have been much, much easier! But that's not the point. Its plot is so dumb and made in such way that it will literally make you laugh. You can rapidly tell that it wasn't meant to be anything even close to an ordinary movie. It's pure comedy disguised as an action film! The characters play stupid roles but are very well interpreted by the actors thus creating a great atmosphere. And to make it even better, it looks gorgeous! From the scenery to the special effect, simply great! I've been waiting for a very long time for such a movie and thank God it appeared!
A brilliant B-movie with inspired content and direction. Some reviewers seem a little miffed at it's popularity, resorting to the favourite 'negative review' comment of 'fake reviewers'.Really? Are you that butthurt that people like something you don't? Guess you thought 'Moon' by Sam Rockwell was a cult classic?I wonder if the caricature of Caribou Barbie offended some reviewers?Back to the title though, excellent execution, intriguing storyline and cute moments from all characters. If you've got a sense of zany or, like me, are a fan of alternate history, this comes highly recommended.
Save your time - poor story line fits in d grade movie list ... 1% funny 99% trashslow and painful to watch, with a poor quality story that feels like naked gun 2.5 but with less of s plot.mind you - it is a statement for the US, which by this movie is still identifying Black folk, and accepting of the Nazi style of rule.this box ask for ten lines of text - but there is a limit to how many time you can write rubbish, junk and time wasting.... I can see that someone has tried to be clever with parts of this movie, but total miss the mark.
US astronauts disturb a Nazi moonbase, and the Nazis launch an expedition to earth to pick up a computer tablet to power their final invasion using a super-fuel mined from the moon.Hectic spoof sci-fi that's totally illogical, full of plot holes, and yet turns into a good satire. Effects are done really well, plenty of other movies referred to (including the music), and closest in spirit probably to Flash Gordon from 1980.It does hurry itself along, so the pace is good but at the expense I think of decent character based gags. The acting was good, particularly the females - the lead was very charming, and the president and her sidekick were mean and brisk.A final plus is that some US reviewers don't like fun being poked at their awful political system.Overall not great, but it was refreshing.
