Overrated and overhyped
Horrible, fascist and poorly acted
To all those who have watched it: I hope you enjoyed it as much as I do.
The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.
The point in creating a physiological thriller, intended to make someone think or believe its real it's something that should be filmed in 3 hours in a friends basement with an actress that isn't fooling anyone. If the (and I personally feel ashamed to call him such) director wanted to make a film that was anything less then complete garbage he could have invested in a tripod. As far as people who create actual videos like this. (no not in porn in real life) They would put the camera down on a table or something so see everything that went on in order to view it later, and please lets not get into the terrible plot of the three movies where this 'rapist' changes his targeted age group for no reason..Aside from bashing the stupidity of who ever let him film this and the poor editing job, terrible angles most of which you cant even see what is going on or wear its taking place due to his Parkinsons disease with the camera, I rate this a do not buy, watch rent or even think about downloading, It's a waste of time and anyone who has anything good to say about this waste of tape needs to Higher their standards.
Much the same set-up as the original, Amateur Porn Star Killer, but quite a different film due to the absence of the 'little girl' element and the introduction of a more knowing and initially complicit 'victim'. Difficult to watch but hypnotic nevertheless with its crazy editing and beguiling images. Here the lady in tow is clearly up for some rough sex and Kai Lanette gives an amazingly believable performance. The flashbacks to previous rapes and killings continually disrupt the 'main event' but contribute to the 'realness' and force us to struggle to stay with the reprehensible but irresistible continuing action. Much more explicit than the first and unlike others I don't have a problem with that. Sure a film can be made without nudity and a film involving sex without hardcore but give the man a break if he wants to show some sex with his violence, this simply makes it even more realistic for me.
The movie is kind of hard to watch, not necessarily because of the x-rated content, but because the shaky hand-cam and odd conversations that don't seem to go anywhere.I could do without the hardcore pornography, watching the director get a blowjob and penetrating the female kind of ruined the whole 'film' aspect and steered it towards simulated rape porn. That being said, the acting was pretty good, very believable. The black and white grainy look works well, with the exception of the few scenes with camera effects which get annoying. The music is good, and accompanies the movie well.Overall, the film works pretty well but anticlimactic at the end, worth watching if you're interested in seeing violent rape/abuse, I probably wouldn't see #3 unless some changes were made. Particularly, I wished there was more to the main 'hand-cam' part of the movie, with makes up about 95% of the movie.Main complaint is the porn aspect, not necessary and took away from the film, maybe an excuse for the director to get his dick on screen, who knows, I'd rather watch porn.
This isn't normally my kind of movie I'm not big on skin or slasher flicks... Amateur Porn Star Killer 2 isn't either it's a disturbingly well done faux snuff film. It's probably the most twisted movie I've ever seen. It's so straight forward, so simple, so wrong. It won't make you jump out of your skin but it will make you wonder about the kind of world we live in. The movie is basically straight from the home videos of a psychopath. Except that every few minutes we get a flash back into the fates of previous victims. I the only thing I was disappointed at was the end wasn't as brutal as I expected it would be. I guess that's pretty messed up... Twisted.
