Dead Fish
Gary Oldman is Lynch, a strangely charming hit man in this explosively funny dark comedy in the tradition of Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. With an all-star cast including Terence Stamp, Elena Anaya, Robert Carlyle and Billy Zane, Dead Fish is a chaotic tale of criminals looking for love, money and revenge that will have you falling out of your chair laughing!

Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.
Please don't spend money on this.
If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
It is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
this is another of those films where i spent 5 days filming , i remember it was probably one of the best jobs i did , i had to sit at a table drinking beer watching all these Girls around me prancing around Naked , it was fantastic , i had one girl above going up and down too and fro on this giant Bannana , great great great .. give me more, what else can i tell you , i think the film had a good story line great cast but it needed a little more with the direction .. i think the film was rushed to be finished and i got the feeling that is the reason it flopped in the box office due to the fact it needed that little more extra mileage ..
I must admit I quite enjoyed this film. I think it works best as an over-the-top parody of such movies as "Lock, stock..." or "Snatch". The plot makes no sense, rhyme or reason. If you're after a cohesive plot, you'd better look elsewhere. The characters are at times funny and at the same time verging on annoying (think the character played by Brad Pitt in "Snatch", only stretched to the entire cast and entire duration of the film). Absolutely no way for suspension of disbelief here. So, again, if getting immersed in an action film is your thing, look elsewhere. All in all: noisy, clumsy, over-the-top, silly, but for some unknown reason the overall experience for me was actually not so terrible.
I watched this movie on pay-per-view recently, which is what i do when i'm not sure if a movie is worth going to the theatre for/buying. I realised I wouldn't watch it if someone paid me to! The setting seems interesting - unlikely people getting mixed up with each other - the kind of storyline that you can make a really good comedy film out of. Which is why it's shocking how boring, pointless and NOT FUNNY the movie is. None of the actors came close to being convincing except for Elena Anaya, who played her role as Mimi very well, but then Mimi was pretty much a minor character. Virgil(Billy Zane) said his lines so slowly it makes you want to throw something at him. Andrew Lee-Potts as Abe did little more than run around with a constant expression of panic throughout the movie. But Robert Carlyle as Danny Devine was the height of unbearability. An annoying loud guy that pops up on the screen every 3 mins cribbing about his '****ing money' is enough to make you want to rip your hair out and bury yourself alive. And of course, what could be worse than a movie with a bunch of crazy characters, than a movie with a bunch of crazy characters that's NOT AT ALL FUNNY? But I definitely recommend this movie if you like 1. listening to people ranting all day 2. watching kinky scenes no matter how bad the rest of the movie is 3. Elena Anaya enough to not mind the torture of the scenes she is not in.
I rent that movie and there is a reason why I never heard about that film, it's because it is part of the worst movies that I ever saw in my life. Seriously. Everything in that movie is poor; including the actors and, despite the fact that they are all recognized people such as Gary Oldman, Billy Zane and Terence Stamp, I found they were all sadly poor in the movie. It is a story without style, completely pathetic and surprisingly complex without any reason. I found it hard to follow but I think the movie is just badly directed and built. And, by all these facts, it is a very boring movie. Without surprise, I even wanted to pull me a bullet in the head in the middle of the movie. This a little production who thinks that the only ingredient needed to make a good movie is great actors, but that reveals a lack of professionalism and that is what the film principally suffers. Maybe not watching that movie is the best choice to do.
