Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.
If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.
This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
Screened on free to air public TV in Australia last night every family here got to see the delights and charms of Rob Schneider and his arsenal of penis/gay jokes. Even our own 'star' Alex Dimitriades appeared as a male prostitute. No stretch for young Alex given his same role in the tedious HEAD ON a few years back. Isn't the film industry wonderful! Liberally sprinkled - and in one sneezing penis nose joke - sprayed across the screen in any home watching we were treated to noble Euro-stars hamming it up in a US trash comedy perhaps picking up some quick holiday pay or hoping this could lead to a role in a better film. I de-duced from the start that EURO GIGOLO was supposed to be funny to anyone who only laughed at body functions. Screened in multiplexes across Australia like most Adam Sandler productions (yes, sad but true) and instead of better films EURO GIGOLO is yet another reason why adults do not go to multiplexes anymore, unless forced to when they really really want to see a film. I am so glad this was on TV for free. Had I paid I would have wanted a refund and a year's free admissions.
I loved 'Deuce Bigalow:Male Gigolo.'Even though the sequel was much funnier than the first,I can't admit that it was as good as the first.Sure, there were more funnier moments in it,but the first had more potential. The plot is basically the same as 'Male Gigolo',only it takes place in Amsterdam.Rob Schneider and Eddie Grifin return to their same roles as in the first.Rob Schneider plays Deuce Bigalow and Eddie Griffin plays TJ the man-whore.So you can tell that there's a good cast in this movie, since those are the only actors that I know in the movie. There's more gross-out humor and inappropriate dialouge than the first, which basically keeps the movie flowing.Bottom line? This is a worth-watching comedy that fans of the first movie will enjoy.
really, this movie was so funny, I had to slap myself, because otherwise I would have laughed all my neighbors awake. the many girls in the movie all have little problems, the thing that shows the world population as it is: not perfect. we're not perfect, we all have little faults, but it's our capability of living together that makes this just a detail. the movie itself isn't perfect either, there are a lot of things that aren't well thought of. some characters in it deserved extra time to be themselves, so we could get to know them better. that doesn't happen, but there are a lot of persons in it, so we never get bored or something like that. instead, we give our hearts away for that crazy guy Bigalow, a hero you cannot hate. it's someone you just have to like, there's no other option. good or bad? your choice, but I liked it very much.
I honestly had only seen the original Deuce Bigalow movie when it came out and had never seen the second one until now. I thought the movie was very funny. Definitely not as funny as the first one but I did have some good laughs. TJ the black pimp is hilarious! Norm MacDonald (God Bless Canadians) was pretty funny and I loved the guy Hanz from SLC Punk. This film was very unrealistic like most comedies. I agree that it was a little over the top with the way they presented the Netherlands and also black people (Not all black people love fried chicken!). Honestly I thought this movie was very funny but it offended me as a Canadian and someone that is from Toronto, Ontario that they had a Canadian tourist taking a crap on the street. No Canadian citizen is that dis-respectable and I think it is immature and mean for an American production to make fun of their Canadian neighbors that way. This film honestly would have got a higher rating from me but the guy with the Toronto Maple Leafs Jersey pissing on the car really made me angry! That really shows the difference between Americans and Canadians. I'm not saying Canadians are better then Americans but were definitely a lot more respectful then Americas!
