That was an excellent one.

A Disappointing Continuation

This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

After viewing Don't Blink, I thought it was kinda of strange when there friends were disappearing why they didn't just walked away after they could not get any gas.Anyway, I just saw it again for the 4th time and I saw the film in a different way. All-in-All it's a good film.Ps. I thought the ending was good. Too bad they didn't go into these guys and the place.

I think this film could have been rather good if the director and writers had the courage to take a risk and avoid the usual slasher/horror premise. I was interested to read some of the theories here, and agree that the film was a missed opportunity to explore our beliefs about death. There was so much potential to add depth to the story, some of which was hinted at but which they seemed to run scared of and revert to stereotypes. The characters could have been developed also, but again appeared to rely more on stock horror film types. I think the director and writers unfortunately appear to be of the opinion that we, the audience, are creatures of little brain, and felt the need to 'dumb down'. Why, for instance, have someone produce a gun when there was clearly nothing to shoot at (other than each other)? And of course, the gratuitous sex scene - who in their right mind would strip off then have sex with their ex when your in a creepy cabin and everyone is disappearing around you??? This could have been such a great film if only those involved had the guts to try something a bit different. They played safe instead, which has backfired anyway, and produce something quite mediocre

Ten people arrive at a secluded mountain resort to find it completely deserted. With no gas for the return trip, the visitors are forced to stay and investigate the mystery surrounding the abandoned lodge........It starts off all well and good, just like any other horror mystery. We have a gang of people whom some of are recognisable from days of glory past, and some you vaguely remember from a guest appearance from some long forgotten TV show.And this is the norm for horror films, the more famous you are, the more likely you'll survive, unless you put in a special guest appearance and leave quite early on.So the gang reach an abandoned place where it looks like the residents a have just gone out for a walk, but no, something sinister is afoot, and it's not long before the characters start to shout at each other and act strange.And that's the film basically.People disappear one minute, and are never seen again, until we are left with just one person, and no explanation.Considering the film is barely ninety minutes long, it feels like an eternity getting to the end of the film, and what vexes you when you finally come to its lethargic finale, we get nothing more than a cameo from Robert Picardo, reminding you that the last time you saw him, he was about to be assaulted amorously by a Gremlin.Which sounds more appealing than sitting through this rubbish again.

So I was just looking to waste some time this morning before I had to head out to an dentist appointment and I was scrolling around netflix and stumbled across this movie "Don't Blink". This group of people have reservations for a place to stay and when they arrive there is nobody to be found. Through out the movie people pretty much just disappear out of no where So to be honest this was a really dumb movie with a really dumb ending but it was good enough for me to keep watching. Don't expect anything good out of this movie but if your bored just looking for something to watch and you have no other choice then give it a shot. The acting is okay at best and the plot is pretty basic. The music helps make the movie more suspenseful. Its definitely not a movie that I would watch again but it wasn't bad for a first time. At the end of the day though this was a dumb movie. I gave it 4 stars because it was just barley good enough to keep me watching but I was wondering when something big was going to happen. Give it a try if your bored.
