I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

Role reversal!Never before do I recall seeing a teenage sex comedy movie with a female lead. Normally she is the ugly duckling and at the end of the film becomes a beautiful swan. In this film Brandy yearns for knowledge, sexual knowledge. She makes a list, checks it twice, and in the end makes a sizable dent before going off to college.Very funny if you can handle sexual humor.

THere is absolutely nothing worth while in this film. The casting is terrible, the lead character has no appeal, supporting cast is equally as dull, with the exception of Rachael Bison. How they got her in this film is a mystery. Usually a movie like this has some sort of moral or emotional payoff at the end.. this had nothing. There wasn't a single laugh along the way. Whoever wrote this trash should have their writing credentials taken away. Almost as bad as something Tina Fey would have written. If you read this PLEASE Don't WASTE YOUR TIME with this one. I wish i could have my 2 hours back

I honestly don't understand people on here. If you read the synopsis, you know what type of movie you are about to see (and the fact that it's rated R). In all fairness, this movie is well scripted, directed, and acted. I thought there were several great performances and some HILARIOUS scenes! I mean I can see if you're like really pessimistic about everything and don't enjoy raunchy comedy, but you hopefully knew what you were getting before you sat down and watched this. Aubrey Plaza really knocks it out of the park with her dry humor and satirical comedy style. I LOVE her on Parks and Rec and I love her in this movie! It's just a good, funny, teenish movie you can sit down on a Friday night and enjoy. There's really just not a lot to hate about it.

Now when I say teen film I don't mean a film aimed at teens. Oh no! This is a film very much aimed at adults and the older teens. Over here it has a rating of 15 meaning the minimum age a person has to be to see it is 15.Aubrey Plaza plays a teenager that has not had anything to do with sex or letting her hair down at wild parties so her friends take her to one after the class of '93 graduation party. After what happens there she tears out her original 'To Do' list and writes a new one which involves just about everything normal that a teen would know about but is yet to find out about, especially a teen as sexually unknowing as the character is and ends the list with her having sex with the hot hunk she saw at the party. From there on in she goes through various situations from her very open family to not messing things up in her own way and then sorting it all out ....almost! There really should be more comedies like this because seeing the leads played by women and the men in the supporting roles, a reverse from the usual, put a whole new spin and take on things/it! A great comedy that really should be seen!
