So much average

Good story, Not enough for a whole film

A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

This movie lacked sustenance, among other things. Wtf face dude couldn't actually maneuver around in the walls like he did, so it makes the movie just ridiculous. They never explained what he did to both of the families, more eluded to it. And why does his face look all decrepit?! The mentioned the house had been empty for years so he could have taken a shower. Just a waste of time imo, pick something else. I gave the 1 star bc of the wasted effort these ppl put into this movie.

Phil Claydon directs this creepy thriller about making a fresh start and getting life back on track. John Alexander (Michael Vartan) is a widower that remarries and moves his daughter and new wife to a nice house in a peaceful suburban neighborhood. His wife and daughter are still going through the "getting to know you" period. A slow getting primed movie that has its rewards. Weird sounds and even stories of missing previous owners gets daughter Hannah (Erin Moriarty) wanting to search for answers. Even the word "murder" comes up. Strange things are beginning to happen and it is not imagined. My only problem was so many scenes shot in the dark. Oh, that is for suspense. A few false scares and mild surprises. Yes, you can be creeped out a bit.Also featured are: Nadine Velazquez, Dorian Kingi, Tom Wright, Ronnie Gene Blevins and JoBeth Williams.

I liked the movie for two reasons; the mother and daughter. Both were average to bad actors, but sexy and good looking. Typical eye candy. Several full body shots of the sister's shapely bare legs and perky breasts. Mom wasn't far behind. Dad was too inept to protect either of them. Massive loser. Skinny psycho living in between the walls is capable enough to take out two whole families. Dumb. Some stupid factoid during end credits about an increase of homeless people living in homes undetected since 2008. Sorry, I'm not buying that. Dumber. At least the director let us have eye candy until the end.3/10 for "visuals" only

Within is a good short horror Thriller that has plenty of scares,if your looking for a movie with a story line this is not it,but everything else is quite good ignore other reviews this movie is watchable.The acting is OK but all else it makes a pretty good Thriller,the only other that could be fixed is the ending. Spoiler :Don't expect a happy ending
