Mercenary for Justice
Mercenary John Seeger is one of the best in the business. John and his crew battle some soldiers on Galmoral Island in Southern Africa as they're trying to rescue the French Ambassador -- there's a coup going on. Some of John's soldiers unload their machine guns into the Ambassador and his family, blowing the mission and getting his best friend Radio Jones killed. He heads back to the US and visits Radio's wife Shondra to tells her the news, and then promises that he'll take care of her and her son Eddie. But shortly after he makes that vow, Shondra and Eddie get kidnapped.

The Worst Film Ever
One of my all time favorites.
I don't have all the words right now but this film is a work of art.
Don't listen to the negative reviews
This movie isn't bad. Obviously it is not like Nico, above the law or under siege. Not even the glimmer man. But considering the facts is OK.Again an ex-CIA agent/mercenary blah-blah-blah...You will see Seagal shooting a few rounds, kicking some butts here and there. An attractive presence (Jacqueline Lord) in his side. There are some smirks (if not laughs) in some points and a semi-satisfying ending.I don't recommend to watch it with any degree of serious attention, but if you catch it on TV check it out.Overall: It is what it is!
This one came on TV last month and when I finally sat down the watch the recording... god, all I could ask was: who the hell wrote this?We have a good idea for a film: Seagal is a mercenary and we'll throw in some twists, some bad people, some friction with the other merc's he works with, a hot blonde - oh no, she's a crappy fighter, let's kill her off! - some political stuff... let's just try to make it cover ALL the bases, get as many folks interested as we can while we work it into a thriller that's too intelligent for the average action fan to follow so we'll be hailed as clever. Is that confusing? Well, that's what this film is: a pile of turd. A rambling, thinks-it's-better-than-it-is, unfocused turd.Actually, the film is so unfocused that I had to wonder if there was a script at all! Surely, had there been, somebody would've raised the flag long, long before it went into production by asking, "WTF is going on?"If this holds your interest for more than 20 minutes, you're Seagal's biggest fan and deserve a Thank You card in the post. Luke Goss, on the other hand, has quickly become a name I associate with Bad Films. How the heck he manages to choose them, I have no clue.
"Mercenary for Justice" is garbage. Sure, it looks slick, with above-average (by DTV standards) production values, international locations, and some great stunts. But don't let the looks fool you. The story makes no sense whatsoever from beginning to end, and Seagal's ego-feeding is in full-force here (he is introduced as "the most decorated soldier in Gulf War I" - apparently he wouldn't even settle for "second most decorated" - and, of course, nobody can land a single tiny hit on him in a fight, despite the fact that these days he has to send his stunt double to climb over a 10-foot wall). The viewer has no idea what is going on or why, and in a turn of events that shows just how utterly moronic this script is, Seagal and his female partner Jacqueline Lord kill several perfectly innocent Cape Town cops and security people who were just trying to protect the bank that these two were (inexplicably) robbing, yet the film apparently expects us to continue regarding them as the good guys (!!!), because they are trying to save a black kid and his mother. What the hell? Oh, and why does that kick-ass muscular and deadly female mercenary we see in the opening sequence get killed off so quickly? At least SHE could climb over a wall. (*1/2)
Seagal is back and bigger than ever. The larger than life actor is back to his best with Mercenary of Justice. The heart felt story begins with Seagal being described the as a wild card and the best at his job i.e blowing stuff up in slow-mo.A mercenary gets involved in a mission that threatens the lives of his kin. In order to succeed, he must break into one of the most wellguarded prisons in Eastern Europe and free the son of the most notorious drug lord in the world todayIn conclusion this is a great and refreshing change from the average action film with real heart felt drama its only rival release may be firewall, however Harrison Ford struggles to compete with Seagal in every aspect."It's time to fight again".... Damn right
