Just perfect...
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
I can't figure out of this guy is crazy or a genius. The way he makes his films is so incredibly artistic. But it's also incredibly unnerving. I mean, it's hard to watch but you can't stop watching - almost as if the character's resolution and your resolution are tied together. This is quite something lol.
Although I felt the acting, cinematography and score are good, the lack of plot continuity makes it very difficult to access emotionally. I suppose this would be seen as very artistic for the film professional or those who are tired for the sheeple food that Hollywood tends to produce, but in my mind this just goes too far.
I watched this movie in a paid streaming service, hence I had the chance to watch it again but I didn't. I felt so awful after watching it, for not being able to understand the purpose of this movie or what it means. I spent sometime reading shared thoughts of people here and there about what the movie could mean to them and I found that it is totally hard to get a reasonable single conclusive meaning for this piece.I originally gave the movie 1 out of 10 as I couldn't enjoy it and it didn't reach me for obvious reason, I was in hurry. Even though I connected the dots (I understood some how what it is on the outside!!) after watching the first quarter of this movie but it kept stretching for me and that made me lose the point of it.It is a very slow presentation of science fictional concept, the rest is merely a philosophical and artistic presentations. Philosophical and artistic presentations that can make people who watch this movie get confused about it like I was. The movie does not have parts repeated but chapters presented, it is a whole intact story of when the 'concept' suggested happen, what impact 'we' have on us.I give this movie 3 out of 10 for its ability to bring in a unique views on science fiction movie genre.
I usually like your non-traditional Hollywood movie but this one goes way over the cliff. Too slow and boring in most of the scenes. A real mess of a movie. I am glad I saved my $10 and watched it on DVD. A total waste of time. Go somewhere else and prosper. A girl gets drugged by a devious guy and turns her into a pliable automaton ready to do his bidding for financial gain. She is de-wormed by a group of nefarious people who are either good Samaritans or just using her for their oswn purposes. She then meets a guy that seems to have had the same experience and love ensues. If you want something out of the ordinary then watch "Naked Lunch". That will creep you out and you will still have a exhilarating viewing experience.
