Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort
A sudden and mysterious inheritance brings Danny and his friends to Hobb Springs, a forgotten resort deep in the West Virginia hills. Hobb Springs is being looked after under the watchful care of Jackson and Sally, a socially awkward couple who introduce Danny to the long lost family he's never known. A clan by the name of Hillicker. But soon Danny learns his relatives have a different way of living, that for generations, the Hillickers have observed ancient traditions rooted in cannibalism and other taboo rituals.

Very very predictable, including the post credit scene !!!
Very Cool!!!
Thanks for the memories!
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
WRONG TURN 6: LAST RESORT is the last (so far) of the WRONG TURN franchise and one of the weakest instalments yet. Once again the narrative follows a bunch of uninteresting twentysomething characters as they head off to a remote locale and find themselves at the mercy of a cannibal clan of mutants. The emphasis of the plot this time around is on a conspiracy involving 'normal' characters helping the mutants but, truth be told, it's largely uninteresting and the viewer will be itching to go back to the horror scenes. This one was shot in Bulgaria and has a cheap look to it. There's some gore but it doesn't have the same creativity as in the previous instalment and there's a lot of sex and nudity to help make up for that. The cast is undistinguished, featuring former EMMERDALE actress Roxanne Pallett and a bit-part actress from GAME OF THRONES. I'd rate this the second weakest of the franchise after number four.
For being a fan of the franchise for awhile now, I have my own ranking of the Wrong Turn films and Wrong Turn 6 is far better than Wrong Turn 4 and 5. The first 3 were great, 4 being bad, 5 being awful, and 6 being okay. It was a little confusing but it had good kills, good opening scene, and great cinematography. I'd watch it, especially if you've already seen the rest.
So what can I say about this movie? I kept an open mind when it came out I watched it and kind of enjoyed it the first time around thought it was pretty decent didn't mind the acting or kills the only thing I didn't like was the hillbilly makeup I even looked past the fact that this was an incest movie I actually kind of liked the backstory the first time around not sure why then I realized this time around there was no reason and this movie actually sucks and makes no sense whatsoever so the hillbillies reside in a nice hotel and they go from there to living in a dump in the West Virginia forest? That's really believable...also this whole movie is about how they kept their family and bloodline alive by having sex with each other they sucked the main character Danny who is supposedly a family member who inherited the hotel into it and he becomes crazy and apart of it he became the master of the hillbillies as well I mean this movie is just all over the place and the incest disgusts me plus the acting sucks balls too none of these actors are known to me at all I could give it credit for some for a few of the kills except for one where the hillbillies stick a hose in the ass of one of the characters and pump water in him until he explodes it was stupid. I honestly hope they don't make a 7th one they left it open for one so it might mean they'll continue this story I hope they don't if they make a 7th at all hope it's what happened after 3 cos if it's not I'm not watching it.
First and foremost I am a huge fan of B-movie horror. I am especially quite a fan of slasher/cannibal/human nature type movies. Acting is never my first priority with these types of film. Rather I look at content and pace. And of course, especially with these types of movies, gore and sexuality/nudity. So I must admit I was thoroughly pleased with Wrong Turn 6. Absolutely my favorite of the series. I especially love that we find out the how and why of the inbreeding. Also we are given a story that allows us plenty of gory deaths and sexual situations. It even throws in a curve ball. Just when you think the lead actor will escape or turn away from the clan, he doesn't. No, he embraces it. And in turn consummates with his awesomely hot sister. A must watch movie in my opinion. Oh, if only they all delivered as well as this one did.
