I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
A look at how climate change affects our environment and what society can do to prevent the demise of endangered species, ecosystems and native communities across the planet. Before the Flood was a better documentary that anyone would have hoped for plus Leonardo DiCaprio does have a point to be perfectly honest right? Cause 'WE' the people ruin and destroy our planet with making evil things against nature and as anyone would expect? Nature? bites back and bites hard and it unfortunately makes sense and with the current sittuation? it makes sense.
The movie shows us the consequences of the global warming, and what we are going to do to solve this problem.I think Sunita Narain made an impression on me when she said: "I'm sorry to say this, and I know you're American, so please don't take this the wrong way, but your consumption is really going to put a hole in the planet." She has very clear ideas about what we need, for example when she said what 1 American consumes at home is equivalent to 61 citizens of Nigeria, she knows about what we need and what we must to do to solve this problem. Also she wants to inform us about what is happening in the world.I liked it, because for me it is important to be informed about what is going on in the world and now I know what I can do to make the world better. I also learned important things, like there is no support from the Unites States government against global warming and that the islands could disappear as a product of the increase in water levels. My rating is 8/10.
The movie is about the problem of climate change. It's a documentary that interviews many different kinds of people that tell their points of view about climate change: the sea level is rising and if the climate changes it's a product of man.Dr. Piers sellers from NASA impressed me because he told the truth about what is going on with climate change. He proves whit a NASA simulator what is going to happen if we don't take care of the issue. He also mentioned that scientists and the media didn't tell the truth and details to the public about what is going on with the earth. Something that made an impression on me is that he always maintains positive that we can solve and overcome this huge problem. And also we can make change for the future. Also he said something different than others that when the north pole melts and the water rises, Europe is going to get colder. The movie is about how climate change is happening because of all the powerful companies and people who are in favor of making profits with the extraction of fossil fuels.I like the movie a lot because this film opened my eyes. I saw the truth and what is going on outside. Also the movie gets me very worried about the future . The movie has many facts that made it very interesting and entertaining for the public. I also liked that Leo traveled around the world and showed many places that are notorious for climate change. The movie shows the speech of Leo at the United Nations that was very inspiring. I rate the movie on a 8 of 10.
The movie is about how climate change has affected our planet already. It shows us what are the causes, possible solutions and different points of view to this problem. One person that made an impression on me from the documentary is Dr. Pires Seller, who used to be an astronaut who worked for NASA. He made an impression on me because of his optimistic point of view and faith in humanity. Even though he knows all the facts and the dangers of climate change, and even though he knows we are responsible for that, he says he still has faith in humanity and he thinks we can fix it. He knows all the impacts climate change will have on our planet and he knows we need to change urgently and he still believes in us. I liked the movie because even though i knew about this problem it showed me different points of view that I hadn't thought about. Also I like how it shows me what countries are doing to deal with this problem and what I can do to help.
