Good movie, but best of all time? Hardly . . .

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.

A mysterious killer video tape is circulating around. One look at this tape and you have seven days left to live. News Reporter Cindy Campbell witnesses this video tape and tries to work out a way to prevent her death. But this is not the only mystery to appear. Crop circles have been appearing in the local farm of Tom and George. A mix between The Ring and Signs 'Scary Movie 3' provides once again more goofs, more laughs and even more camoes from well known faces such as Pamela Anderson but also even more sexy stuff. Definitely works once again. (A+)

Scary Movie three is arguably the last high rating parody movie made, what followed generally seemed to lack the sharp writing and down right laughs. The source material was perfect for parody, the best material arguably coming from The Ring and Signs. As always the film is relentless in its ability to offend every demographic without offering any genuine malice. Pamela Anderson starts off proceedings, I am a huge fan of hers, and her ability to poke fun at herself, a fun performance too. The best elements for me are The Ring parodies, each absolutely hilarious, Cindy's visit to Aunt ShaNeequa never fails to have me in tears laughing, the first time I saw that I could barely breathe.Fine performances, Anna Faris, Charlie Sheen, Leslie Nielsen and Simon Rex all equally hilarious, great timing. A shame Regina Hall seemed to have a smaller role.Hilarious.

Although the series took a different route after the Wayans Brothers left, Scary Movie 3 appealed to me more than SM2 did. Mostly because it spoofed 8 Mile when I was going thru my gangsta' rap phase. Another thing is that Leslie Nielsen makes an appearance as a dim-witted President. Nielsen is one of my favorite comedic actors since childhood. 10 years later, I still love this movie. It's my 2nd favorite behind the original. Anna Faris and Regina Hall return as Cindy Campbell and Brenda Meeks. Cindy is now a news reporter and investigates the crop circles that have appeared in farmers Tom and George Logan's cornfield. Tom is the serious brother to George. George is the wanna-be rap artist who begins to fall in love with Cindy. When Cindy finds an evil videotape, she has 7 days to live unless she can destroy Tabitha, the evil girl who possesses the tape. Filled with cameos by Anthony Anderson, Queen Latifah, Kevin Hart, Eddie Griffin, Pamela Anderson, Fat Joe, and many others, I consider this to be one of the best in the series. I highly recommend SCARY MOVIE 3!!!

I rather enjoyed this low-brow comedy, and its mishmash parody of various horror movies (including "The Ring", "Signs" and "8 Mile") and other aspects of Hollywood culture. It was all rather cliché and slapstick, but at the same time it was well done, fast paced, irreverent, sort of fun, and quite unpredictable. Appearing in the film are a number of good comedians and off-the-wall personalities. I enjoyed Scary Movie 1, way back when, and it was interesting to catch up with the series. This movie didn't blow me away, but it was entertaining enough. I'm tempted to give it about a 7, but I think it merits a 6 because of its general crudity and overt stupidity.
