Zookeeper
Kindhearted Griffin Keyes is one of the best-loved caretakers at the Franklin Park Zoo, but he's more comfortable with the animals than with females of his own species as proven by his failed marriage proposal to the self-absorbed Stephanie several years ago. The animals have listened to Griffin pine over her for years and, after she reappears in his life, they decide to help Griffin rekindle the relationship and become the alpha male she wants him to be. They inadvertently reveal their secret ability to talk and, after Griffin's initial shock, teach him the rules of courtship, animal-style. Surprisingly, the animals' advice really works and Griffin is about to get everything he's ever dreamed of--or is he?

That was an excellent one.
So much average
A different way of telling a story
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
A group of zoo animals decide to break their code of silence in order to help their lovable zoo keeper find love -- without opting to leave his current job for something more illustrious. To be honest i've always enjoyed Kevin James movies and this one is no exception, there's enough laughs and some great mix of adventure and drama within this film and having some well known actors like Stallone and Nolte voicing some of the animals makes the movie even better. It's not a film for everyone but some viewers will like it. (8.5/10)
Cinema has just reached a new low. I honestly never thought I would see a movie that was worse than Furry Vengeance, but I was wrong. This movie was just painful to watch. It's overly cutesy messages, clumsy and cliché plot, and unimpressive casting chokes the brain of anyone unfortunate enough to see it. Guess what the plot is? Chubby, relatable dork wants to meet a girl, so the animals try to coach him on how to date. Yeah, it made me throw up a little in my mouth just to write it. This movie would only be enjoyable to the youngest of viewers, (or someone who has never seen another movie before). The only reason I would ever recommend Zookeeper to someone else would be for revenge, and it would require something terrible to deserve this movie... like a war crime.
Zookeeper, in my opinion, is a great movie. It is for both adults and children. With the talking animals I thought that it might turn out to be kind of like Dr. Doolittle, but the producers did a good job of turning it and twisting it to make it into his/her own creation. The romance was a nice twist, also. The talking animals and how they were exposed to Griffin and also how he took the gorilla to T.G.I.Friday I thought was cute. This movie would more or less likely probably be for younger kids or mid teens. Adults might also get a kick out of the humor. Some people might find it somewhat for little kids but it is an all around family movie, in my opinion. I would watch this movie again in a heartbeat! Zookeeper is up there in my favorite movies.
Watching this monstrosity of a movie i actually felt dumber. I had seen the trailers prior to watching the film, and i admit i went in with low expectations. But I left extremely disappointed. The story line seemed to have died about 5 minutes into the film, From what i assume this movie is intended for and age group of 3-6 years of age. The unfortunate thing is that even for someone of that age there is literally no humor in the entire film. It's like if you made a movie all about fart jokes, and keep it going for and hour and thirty minutes. Why was this movie necessary, The characters are forgettable, the storyline is flat, all aspects considered the movie is plain god awful.
