Absolutely Fantastic
If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.
The music was too loud, the dialogue was too fast and the entire pace of the movie was too fast. I didn't hear one word uttered over the loud music. Since I know the story well, I was able to follow it but much of the best of the book is left out. The plots and costumes were good that's all I can say good about it.
Honestly, this is one of my all time favorite movies. Love the story in both book form and movie. The actors portray their characters very well whether it is their reserved personality, over zealous, annoying, shy, quirky, etc. Mrs. Bennett is one of my favorites besides the main two characters, her constant nagging and banter with Mr. Bennett are sure to entertain anyone.
Pride and prejudice is the most exquisite romantic film ever made. The soundtracks, scenerie, words, actors .. everything about it comes together in a harmonised sympohonie like the perfect piece of art. It takes you places and triggers deep emotions. I cannot comprehend how the director achieved this masterpiece,it is as if the universe conspired to make it happen. It's an experience,I fully immersed myself in an will always cherish, I simply can't get enough of it. It is beautiful and I am utterly appreciative and thankful for the brilliant minds who birthed it.
This is my favorite movie over all love romantic movies. I have so many expression and thoughts about pride&prejudice over so many years. I have different thoughts, different perceptiveness as I getting older. However it become wordless when I try to put it into words. It looks impossible for me to find a day to recall all the details that I would want to tell.Beside, 10 years have passed, I am really interested are there anyone planing to film another PP?
