The Worst Film Ever
I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.
It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties. It's a feast for the eyes. But what really makes this dramedy work is the acting.
Even from their youth, the four penguins were very nonconformist in comparison with their older relatives. Thus they get separated from the pack and end up in the zoo which will become their home due to their cute and cuddly nature. With their arrival, another exhibit gets thrown away so he begins planning his revenge on the penguin nature. The penguins must join forces with another team of elite animals, in their attempt to stop the villain from achieving his goal. It's an enjoyable and most of all funny movie which contains almost everything you can want from an animation. Great effects and characters, lots of action and some suspense, just to spice things up a bit. As an animation, or better said, a comedy animation, it is a very good movie, but a bit far from the masterpieces out there.
Penguins of Madagascar is my best movie. It is one of the movies who makes you laugh from beginning till end. Apart from Skipper and Private,Classified and rest of the characters are really good. This is my first review to anything because of this movie ,I got bound to write a comment for this movie. I really appreciate work of all cast to put such a good movie.
It's an amazing movie, with an awesome story about the family and how anyone can make a difference no matter how he/she looks like or his/her age. The animation and the humor is perfect. All family will enjoy it! It's a lovely movie to share with friends, family and everybody in a family night.
From the first credits to the last credit interlude which *** SPOILER ALERT *** fixes Private's problem, this was a great movie, and I'm sorry that I saw it on the telly without getting the 3D effect. That would have been great, but hey, as a Christmastime movie for the kiddies and this grandma, it worked like a charm. There are four characters from the Madagascar franchise, the ones that enlivened any scenes that they were in with non sequiturs and comic timing, and then this movie introduces four new ones, the North Wind doppelgangers. Similar in group profiles to the penguins, Classified and the rest add their own charm. Sidenote: when Skipper and the boys are seemingly stranded on a lifeboat in survival mode after a villain/hero debacle, he's depicted with stubble, whether by accidental animation or not, I don't know, but what's when I really lost it and made the kids and the cats look at me funny. From there it was a simple step to search eps of the TV show on Nicktoons, and write fic about them. This movie made me a happy camper. Added observation is that Skipper's VA, McGrath, has the tonal inflections of Archie Bunker. Fine work all around, Dreamworks. :D
