A Masterpiece!
Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
The story-telling is good with flashbacks. The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.
The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
This "MOVIE" is movie is so bad I created an IMDb account just to rate it. It's plain boring , over acted, unnecessary , and just plainly bad. Don't waste your time.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The main character had me laughing the entire time with her awkward quirks because I completely relate. Loooved seeing a black couple match-up for once. Always a fan of those. I've seen Keith in other titles so I had no doubt he'd do a great job here as well.
I definitely appreciate this movie because seeing the diversity of the cast was amazing. I loved that Cameron was an African American swimmer and smart and not a typical jock. I loved how Dani was so awkward and yet lovable. To me it was a mash up of Mean Girls & She's All That. Her little sister was such a smart ass in a good way. The surprise gay couple was cute too. The dopest part of that was how relaxed his friends took it when they saw him hooking up with the guy.
The most basic film I've ever watched this year. If you wanna watch this film when you are bored, then you are going to be double bored. The story is so predictable that I didn't need to see the end, because it's like some various teenage films that are good for TV but not for a streaming service like Netflix, I was really disappointed with the acting.
